Reach out to a friend or loved one that you have not spoken to or may be on bad terms. We need to improve our mental well-being especially during the holidays. The stigma of Mental Health is complex and produces many barriers for people in the workplace and at home. During the Holiday Season, there is an uptick in suicides and family violence. Colder weather, shorter days, loss of loved ones, and financial hardships lead to higher stress levels and anxiety. It is okay to cry or seek professional help. Sometimes a good cry or a listening ear is the best medicine.
